Tea Time....

Another sweet project from Scandinavian Stitches....
I am beginning to think these will be difficult to part with...the teapot fabric is vintage.  I found this as a feedsack pillow case in a great cheese/flea market shop in Plain City.  The other fabrics are from Sew To Speak :)
Molly helped with stitching the steam from the cup!
The buttons - front and back - are from my niece who is lucky enough to live near The French General in Burbank, Calif.  I love how the trim matches the tea cup!  Or in my case coffee cup....
Enjoy your Monday!
Mary

  13. Thank you everyone for the lovely comments! I would send each of you an email but for some reason (I have not yet figured out) every comment sent to my email has a no-reply address. Now I know this has to be something with my security settings on my computer...because even my comments come to me this way and I know I have my email on my profile. Soooo...I apologize and if anyone has any clue how I might correct this situation...I would love the help :) Anyhooo...thank you so much!

  16. wow! super cute! I think I'm going to have to get this book. It's been on my wishlist for some time now. i don't really know how to embroider (well...not at all actually!) and my applique skills are extremely "beginner" as well, But I guess I could learn and practice! This stuff you've done from the book are amazing!
