A Year In Review....

Wow!  This has been some year! 
Cheery Dresden Plate...inspired by Sarah Fielke!!!  Love Dresden Plate Quilts...this one is hand appliqued (plate and center) and hand quilted with perle cotton...

Cog and Wheel....pattern by Denyse Schmidt....machine quilted circles....

 Cathedral Window Quilt....full size quilt....

Embroidered pillow...I love this little guy....

Molly's first embroidery....all of my pillow cases are now embroidered :).....I am a lucky girl!

Coin Quilt....straight line machine quilting...with pick stitching...

Hourglass Quilt....this one still needs to be quilted...I think that would help perk it up as well...hmmm....

Wonky Log Cabin Quilt...completely hand quilted with perle cotton...

Those are the major projects....many other little ones in between....
For 2011...I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel for my current project...
And I have many more quilts I want to tackle....can't wait!

  8. Your quilting is absolutely beautiful!! :o) I am truly smitten with each one you have shared with us. :o) Thank you again (so much) for telling me the size of needles and thread you use. I purchased them, and batting, for a quilt to be hand quilted. :o) You are such an inspiration to me!

  14. Oh my good golly! I just came over from Trish's blog and I just adore every single quilt. I made my first quilts for my daughters last year and have a couple in the works, and now I have to add some of these gorgeous ideas to my dream list. I can see you are going to make me a lot of work with all this inspiration:>) Glad I found you.

  16. Hi I'm here from "Notes of Sincerity's" blog. and all I can say is WOW!!! Your quilts are absolutely awe-inspiring!! I can't believe you did that many "major" projects in one year with all the hand quilting!! I have a really big quilt that was my 1st quilt along quilt that I keep going back and forth on whether I should hand quilt or machine or do some of both. It's rather large and I get discouraged b/c I think the hand quilting will take forever. Especially since I've never really don't it other than a mini-quilt. Seeing your quilts makes me want to hand quilt it. They are gorgeous!!
