W.I.P. Wednesday....

Still a good deal of work to be done, but it is beginning to look like a quilt....
My apologies for the dark, fuzzy picture....our January days have been anything but bright....

  2. Very nice quilt. And it's funny that your dog has her paw on your quilt. My golden retriever is always stepping on or laying down beside my quilts when I'm working on them.

  7. I love this. Even in Jauary's light it is still colorful and beautiful. I hope there will be a how to of this pattern or maybe where I can find it. I absolutely love it.

  8. Hi Lori...this is a traditional design...pickl-dish, but the actual pattern is from the Material Obsession 2 book and the name for the pattern is Gypsy Kisses. This is a great book -you would love it! The first book Material Obsession is wonderful too!

  11. Gorgeous! I think this quilt is at the top of my to-do list from the Material Obsession 2 book. Yours seems a bit brighter than the one in the book, which I like.

  12. Mary, This is georgeous!!! How hard is it?? :0) I know you are pro so you make everything look easier, but I'm wondering if this is something that I could do? I love it.

  13. Stephanie, it is not as difficult as it is time consuming. If you have done paper foundation piecing it will not seem so foreign, but there is a lot of applique. None of it is that difficult just tedious at times. I do love it though which is good - I am still not finished!
