  2. What a beautiful quilt Mary!! :o) Your colors and patterns of the fabric are so cheerful. :o) Oh and your stitches ... gorgeous! :o) I am still waiting on the perle thread to arrive (ordered through Joanns, all white) and then will begin the "machine" piecing. :o)
I am curious what kind of frame you are using? I am looking on Joann's and they look more like plastic and yours looks like wood. Do you have a preference? I thought you had mentioned it was 18".
    Sincerely, Trish

  3. Hi Anita....yes it is a Victory Garden Pattern...and Trish, I use an 18" hoop although mine is very old and it is a nice sturdy one. I have not used the plastic hoops and I worry about the flimsy wood hoops at Jo-Anns. I know they are less expensive but I don't know how well they hold up. I do think the 14" wood hoop at Jo-Anns seems a bit more durable than the 18". I don't know why??? I have searched the internet for good hoops and the only one at a reasonable price that I have been able to find is the Edmunds hoop (you can order it online from Jo-Ann they don't have it in store). So if you use the coupon code it is not a bad buy. Hope this helps.

  4. It looks lovely! I love how people have these hoops hanging on the wall.
