Calm....

After all the horrible heat....we finally have some breezy, cool, autumn- like days.  My favorite time of the year....

I have been stitching a little quilt....in the calm....


The center is small and I am considering WIDE borders of Essex Linen....


There is something so soothing about linen...


Calm.....

    Okay, I give up! What is it? (I'm Australian, don't forget!) But the basket quilt is so cute! The last Fall print one looks vintage!

    You're baskets really are peaceful and calm!! I love the little red one. I think that one belonged to little red riding hood. That little furry friend is the cutest thing!! Will you get to keep it? It could be friends with Flanders.

    We are on the same page! :o) This cool weather is like heaven to me. Today will be the 2nd (long awaited) day for some windows to be opened! :o) yay!
    Your quilt is coming along beautifully. I love how your blocks are in different sizes. :o) And such soft colors, reminds me of the hush of fall and winter.
    What a sweet little squirrel. He is so tiny. :o)
