When my elder daughter went wedding dress shopping she tried on so many gowns at so many different shops. I was exhausted because we had 2 1/2 days and hit 6 shops in 2 towns. The owner of one store in a city 50 miles from here walked in the room after over an hour of a wonderful saleslady bringing my daughter what she thought she wanted, looked at her and went and got "THE DRESS". Not what my daughter dreamed, but it was in fact the perfect dress. It fit her body style and when we went back the next day, a Saturday, with her father there were gasps in the showroom when she wore it out for him to see. The dress was in the back and they had never tried it on anyone because this lady hadn't found the right person. I hope that your daughter's dress is also perfect and that it brings her great joy and confidence as she walks up the aisle to join her future spouse.
Feather perfection Mary! And so cool to make it with Field Study! For you I hope! She said yes to the dress! How exciting!!! I almost brought it up with my only daughter on Sunday (eight years later) how much it still hurts that her and I never experienced that special moment together...but I stiffled.
