Geesh! I want to see them!

Okay...I am having so much fun reading about your favorite quilts...but as Rachael and Susan mentioned...this would be a great Linky party!

So I am going to attempt another first and host a little sharing time with all of you...

Please, if you have commented about your favorite quilt {made by you} share it here!  And if you are new to the party...welcome!

I can't wait to see your quilts!
and cross your fingers that this works...I am not exactly a tech wizard!

  1. my favorite quilt (no. 4 in the links) is called "earth tsunami" and i made it last fall for a friend (in return, she made me a little wool braided rug). she wanted green, browns, golds. i pulled fabrics from my stash (i only bought the batting for this quilt) and as i was putting it together, i wasn't feeling it. at all. then, as i sewed the blocks in rows and then finished the top, i started liking it. then, when i decided on the border and added that, i really started liking it. and finally, when i decided to add the hexies, i fell in love with it.

  5. Usually the quilt im working on at the time is always my favourite(!) but i always come back to the one I linked to above as my 'totes bestie'. Simple hexes and made from scraps, am really enjoying reading about other peoples favourites, funny how they aren't always the most acomplished or 'hardest' quilt they've ever made?

  6. My quilt is #16. It's a value quilt I made for my niece, who was adopted from Russia last year. My sister redecorated her room around this quilt!

  8. What a fun linky! I'm enjoying looking at all the favorites. I think I'll have to pick a log cabin a made a few years ago. It's the first one that I totally designed myself and hand quilted. It's a good fall one and I just got it out for the place of honor on the back of the couch the other day.

  19. Mine is number 15 and it's called "Summer Flea Market", cause all my material I bought second hand. The red and orange fabric was originally an IKEA sheet. The pattern is really TOO simple, but looking at those colors make me happy every time. :)

  22. Mine would have to be my Chicken quilt. A pattern by Maggie Walker. I love applique! However, it had so many tiny little pieces, that it took me years to complete. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this quilt show!
