I Must Confess!

I must confess....I am a swap virgin!  Thank you Nicky for providing me with the perfect moniker....

I was working on these courthouse steps for a super secret swap....I have only done one other swap and that was a personal swap between me and Clare.  But secret means secret!
Duh...
Super Secret means no sneak peeks...not yet!

So I am forced to start again on my swap....and keep the steps for myself....I will try to be strong...

I kind of LOVE this pillow....and it looks charming on my old ladder back chair.
I stitched it with perle cotton gray and orange...

No fear...I began a new super secret swap project...and I love it just as much.  But this time my lips are sealed!

I also began cutting out some leaves or petals for the wedding quilt....

And I am thinking very soon it will be time for a giveaway.  So check back....details will be posted soon!
Have a wonderful Sunday.  Stay cool and safe!  We had a horrible storm in Central Ohio.

The cushion is great! It's quite hard to keep secrets especially when you want to share something so beautiful- I'm sure you are forgiven! Ada :)

Lucky you to get to keep your beautiful pillow! While I'm sure your next effort will be just as wonderful, I do feel sorry for the person who missed out on this one.

I've been in swaps where sneak peeks were part of the fun. I bet your swap partner wouldn't mind getting that most amazing awesome beautiful pillow. Now we're all wondering what your secret project is...

Oopsies about letting the secret out.
I have never done a swap so you

I hope you are having a nice weekend too.

I holy (!) agree with everyone else- that pillow is a winner wherever it lives! And whenever it needs a new home, you'll have plenty of takers! I'm glad we have the wedding quilt to 'ooh' and 'ah' over until the next pillow is finished! Stay safe and cool!

Oh yes, be strong Mary - and keep that courthouse step pillow right on that chair!
Can't wait to see what the replacement is.

I absolutely love your pillow! The stitching is just wonderful and makes one want to rest their head on it. A great finish. And if you don't have room for it, I will gladly take it and give it a good home!lol

I've just been asked to do a swap (personal, though) for the first time - never done one before, so I'm right there with ya...!
