Chicopee

Our shoppe recently received several bolts of Denyse Schmidt's new line Chicopee!

Chicopee fat quarter bundle

Very vintage and totally Denyse Schmidt...I really love it.
this line lends itself to traditional blocks
so I played with a great little traditional block...

the name is a bit creepy...but I love the simplicity of this block...
The Coffin Star

happy thursday!

  4. Looks terrific, but I agree that block name is pretty creepy, maybe you could re-name it the Eternity Star or something like that, anything that isn't so morbid sounding!!

  7. A lovely mix & array of colours - love the blocks, but I agree, they need a new name to match their prettiness !

  9. It is very pretty fabric!
I wonder where the Coffin Star got it's name? There has to be a story there somewhere!
