Oh, I like this star medallion quilt. Bright and cheery fabrics with lots of interest. If I was without my computer, I'd get more sewing done! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the fun colors! I need to make myself finish a top.....grin.
ReplyDeleteMedallion style quilts seem to be very popular in Australia. I've made two medallion-style quilts, both by Australian designers. Yours is lovely!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love it, too! You have such a way of putting fabrics together - I want to follow you around for about a week! I hope to make one of these medallions one of these days.
ReplyDeleteI always love the colours you choose, and here is no exception, it really is very, very lovely. Bethx
ReplyDeletethe colors of the quilt give me a genuine summer feeling!!!
ReplyDeleteI find it gorgeous..;0)
Have a nice day...
I love this quilt so much. I wish I was better able to articulate what I love about it but basically I love everything. I'm really studying all the fabrics you chose because I am going to an all day Hawaiian quilt needle turn class on Saturday and I have to pick two contrasting fabrics for the class. I have been looking at my stash and trying to think what colors you would pick. I had thought of your daughter's wedding quilt and I do have some Annie's yellow feedsack.
ReplyDeleteI love the summery colours!!!
ReplyDeleteMary-- I love your work. i had the chance to pop by Sew to Speak and see so much of your lovely work.
ReplyDeleteA quick question for you-- what kind of batting do you use? The weight of your quilts is incredibly pleasing!
Thanks!
Stephanie
