I have a calendar photo of a vintage Gee's Bend quilt....
Coat of Many Colors
I love this quilt! And, I love that the rectangles are not split into two pieces to make it easier to piece. Love the lines and the colors!
So I am {trying} to work it out....
I will let you know how it goes!
happy wednesday!

ReplyDeleteIt's going to be lovely; for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love it already, I remember the braid pattern being done like that by friends years ago. Love your new header too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a partial seam puzzle to me!
ReplyDeleteKeep going though as it looks good! Love the fighting spirit!
I love the way you love to go for a challenge, Mary! Soon we will be drooling over your project and asking "HOW?"
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be gorgeous! I am impressed at your partial seam ambition. WOW!
ReplyDeleteI was shown a table runner in that design when I was a member of a quilting group in Sweden. From what I remember it was simple to put together, but it was only explained to me, and although simple enough, I couldn't get it into my head. I hope you manage to work it out.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this, it's beautiful - and I really love the color/flow/patterns of the fabric. I really LOVE it!
