Where did the weekend go?
Monday is here....and all I have accomplished is adding a few more hexagons to a growing garden....
I am up to 11 blocks...only 19 more to go!
In the Fall I will be teaching a few technique classes...including English Paper Piecing....
I absolutely love piecing by hand and am so excited to be able to pull a few others on board...YAY!
My Sunday was spent shopping with my middle daughter, Maggie.
She didn't have much luck finding what she was looking for...but I was able to pick up a couple of things at Anthropologie....
Some yummy smelling soaps...
And another plate to add to my collection....
Happy Monday!

I love this quilt so much. You have inspired me so much. I want to be you when I grow up.
Just discovered your blog. I love your hexagons, the colours are so pretty and summery. Gorgeous!
I love your hexagons! I am working on hexagons right now too. Going to make a pillow. Then maybe do some Christmas hexagons.....I feel the same way about hand piecing. So relaxing.
i will be signing up for your classes when we move to ohio. ;)
How BEAUTIFUL
I'm beginning to rethink my plan to do a hexie charm quilt because yours is so cute!
Okay, so when you are ready and have all those hexies finished up....could you just ship them to me please???
:)

The hex's are so pretty. I have never enjoyed paper piecing, so they scare me a little. But I do so admire them!
Your hexies look fabulous... love the scrappy colours you've chosen...how big are you going to make it?
The hexagon quilt is going to be a stunner for sure. I'm impressed with your progress.

All of your hexagons are gorgeous! You are going to have an amazing quilt :)
I want those flowers in my garden Mary - when they set seed can you send me some and I shall plant them with care! If only?? Looks like I might have to sign up to two hexie quilts and I haven't started one yet!
Oh another pretty plate! Don't you love those blossom like flowers! If you think the weekend went quick, it's already Tuesday here! LOL!
Your hexagons are looking lovely.
Love the hexagons! And that plate is darn cute :)
Your hexagons are wonderful, that is going to be a spectacular quilt. Cute plate too.
Your blog makes me smile....and I am so excited that we will soon have an Anthropologie in OKC....now I am grinning really big : )
Anyone that sees your hexagon quilt will want to start one!! It's beautiful!! I'm in love with that plate, it's different, a bit strange and so pretty all at the same time. We don't have Anthropology in Australia but when I was in the States a few years ago I went to one and loved it!
more gorgeousness, mary! And I love that plate, and Anthropologie!!!
Love love love your flowers!! What a gorgeous quilt that is becoming!!
And super cute plate! :o)
I was curious if you have ever hand quilted with size 10 crochet thread??
Hoping your week has been a great one this far. :o)

I've only made a few hexagons, just to teach myself, but seeing your beautiful blocks(?) has inspired me to do more of them, but with a purpose!
I want to be you.
holy crap, ditto the previous comment! Those hexies amazing.
Your blocks look awesome! I adore the plate, if I saw it I'd have bought it too.
