of all things quilty good!
Beautiful blocks, Mary. I agree about gingham and dots - and the little flower print you added, too. They all play together so nicely!
Those blocks are so pretty Mary! You have amazing skills!
Only 2000 left to go then LOL!
I really want to start a 'small' hand sewing project and have been toying with hexagons in my mind....just haven't really gotten started....yours are beautiful!!!!
Mary! All I can say is You Are a Sewing Machine..you amaze me with the amount that you can produce. ~~
since this is your "life" quilt and you are getting it done so quickly, you'll have to think of another quilt to be your once in a lifetime quilt. I'm still pondering my own :life" quilt and it does involve hexies too!
Absolutely stunning! I have loved to watch your progress. ~KellyBlogging InfounDeniably Domestic
I have started my hexies but I don't have a pattern, first I just thought random but now I think I need a pattern. You are doing just 4 fabrics?
244 hexagons of beauty!
Love all 244 of them - very pretty colours, so fresh and summery. I need to remind myself just how big your hexies are to get an idea of scale here! Keep up the good work!
the fabrics of your hexagons are so pretty.
SO pretty! I especially love the little green diamond pieces you are using to join the hexie flowers together! And that sweet floral is fabulous!
Its a hexagon party!!! They look wonderful. Must be such a good feeling to have a row finished!
Your hexagons look fabulous. Love the fabrics.
oh yes! And those diamonds are the bees knees!
My favorite part is the little connector diamonds. I wish we could go fabric shopping together...
Your blocks are looking gorgeous and very pretty. I'm with you on the ginghams and spots, I love stripes just as much.
Love them! The colors and the count!
You, my dear, are amazing! I have been sewing hexagons together for almost a year now and am no further along than you are in just a few weeks. I think I must be low on gasoline or something!! Your flower garden is awesome!!
244 is looking great!
Hi Mary I really do appreciate your comments, especially coming from one so talented as yourself!I'd love to see you make the big hex quilt like mine, I warn you though it has a strange addictive quality.Towards the end you sort of go off it and want it finished...then when you're nearly done, you want to make another!!Clare x
Hi Mary. :o)I have really enjoyed watching this lovely quilt evolve! You are influencing me to get my little hexagons back out. Now that my crochet blanket is done, I will need something to keep my fingers busy in the evenings. :o)Have a lovely week.Sincerely, Trish
Amazing to have so much done so quickly! And I love the patterns. They are so beautiful--fresh and in delightful pairings! I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
