I am on the home stretch....
All four corners of the quilt will be flanked by 3 NYB quadrants....
Then the borders will have the large spikes...
oh - how I would love a design wall rather than a design floor!
I am loving this black/white dot I picked up last week....Habitat....there is just something about it I am really liking...
I thought I would share with you the plates we hung on the wall in our family room...they are all {but one} from Anthropologie....the bottom middle one is an old small oval platter....from my husband's family....
Have a great Monday!
mary

ReplyDeleteOoooooh! Love that NYB Mary but I want to see it all now! Just too impatient for words. Finish it, finish it please :D
ReplyDeleteAlso love that bee on a plate - I think I'm right in saying that Napoleon Bonaparte used the bee as his symbol! Wonder if the plate harks back to that?
Beeeeautiful!! I have a wall of plates too.... Yours are super cool!
ReplyDeleteYour NYB looks wonderful Mary. As do your plates. Can't wait to see this beauty all finished up!

ReplyDeleteLoving it all!! A design wall would be fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteWow Mary! Those NYBs are beautiful. And I love the plates- and Anthropologie too. Ahhh, they would get all my money if I would spend any of it on clothes instead of fabric. :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I also love the black dot! The dishes are great! Dishes hold a special place in my heart!
ReplyDeletethis is an impressive quilt! loving the black dots too!
ReplyDeleteyour amazing, just love these!
ReplyDeleteThese blocks looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gorgeous NYB! Beautiful work!!! And I love your plate wall. I'm about to do the same in my home with Spode Christmas plates I've been collecting each year. I just have to measure and count them so I can get the hangers.
ReplyDeleteI'm too SOO anxious to see the NYB! I will check out the black dots.
ReplyDeleteYou don’t need an expensive design wall. You can just use a large piece of cotton batting and some tacks. It works great and you can pull it down when you need the wall to look pretty again.
ReplyDeletelove your fabric selections...
ReplyDeletedifferent...
Blessings,
Kathy
