Today I am channeling my inner Clare....
of Selfsewn.....
I need her guidance....I know she could calm my jittery nerves...she has Paper Pieced curves....
she transformed my flowering snowball into a paper pieced wonder!!!!
It is challenging....a clamshell challenge
Here is a little peek....
Back to my trance...channeling my spiritual guide ;)

I can't even imagine where I'd start making those! They look amazing! And that dish!!! Beautiful!
Clamshells are so cool!! I have no doubt yours will be extra special!! It looks as though you are off to a great start.
I love clam shells, can't wait to see more!
I love the clamshells--they are gorgeous!
Mary
You will be kicking out clam shells like a machine in no time I'm sure. Beautiful and on my "to try" list.
Another new project - I shall think of you piecing while I am quilting clamshells!
Fabulous!
I think you'll do just fine
Oh Cllllaaaarrreeee where are you? They look perfect to me! Pretty retro fabrics and yes I love that dish too!!
I would love to try her rose stars! Maybe clamshells after that! I'm looking forward to seeing yours!
I love the clamshells...we glue the top curve and don't turn under the bottom curves as they will be covered by the clams below...saves even more time!
these are pretty!
and I love your mix of fabric...
when i grow up i want to be as talented as you are! xo
Ooh channel away!!
That green floral fabric, was my Grandmothers. She was a dressmaker, mainly of bridesmaid dresses, when she passed my Mum gave me this fabric from her stash, there is literally 100s of metres of it.
I found a sticker on it saying 'alternative material'.
I like to think it could have been for bridesmaid dresses...can you imagine! I think that why it's so light in weight.
Looking forward to more of this Mary!!
ps. I love the fact that we are working with the same fabrics, isnt the purple one an odd texture!
