New York Beauty-licious!!!!

Whew!!!  I can't tell you how happy I am that this top is finished!

When I looked at this all pieced together....my first thought was Willy Wonka....or Carnival!!!
So maybe this will be my Willy Wonka Quilt....hee hee!

On each corner I added 3 quadrants...

And for the center of the corner blocks....I used a smaller black and white polka dot...the centers are hand appliqued....

Between the corner blocks, I paper foundation pieced {freezer paper} 10 inch spikes...

The center of the quilt is just 4 New York Beauty blocks, measuring 20 inches each....the borders and corner quadrants measure 10 inches...

The entire quilt measures 60 inches square....

This is one I can check off my list of quilts 'to do'.....Yay!!!!

Now to decide how to quilt it...by hand, by machine, both?  What design for the quilting?  Any suggestions?

Whatever you do, do dots and stripes! it seems to be the theme of your fabrics!! maybe dots in the circles, and lines out? lol.

This is my very favorite quilt for today, until you show us another one of yours. Love the border and I can't believe you would think of finishing it with anything other than hand quilting..after getting us all on the hand quilting bandwagon.

Oh... New York Beautiful!!! Reminds me of a song with the words..."Sunshine, lollypops and rainbows....." (do you know it, or will I sing it for you! LOL!!) You really must hand quilt this - circular in the centres radiating out somehow? You have not disappointed us with this one Mary! Amazing!

Really stunning, all those lovely dotty prints. I would be machine quilting some and then finish off with hand quilting.

Amazing and beautiful quilt! Oh hand quilting would be amazing in this quilt but some machine would be nice too. I am in the same debate with myself right now for my current quilt project. Good luck with it. Can't wait to see it all quilted up!

This is one stupendous quilt! Love your pointy border and 3/4 circles. I find it quite mesmerising - can't take my eyes off it! Love all the dots - I'm a bit dotty about them too. The black really works with all these bright colours! Clever, clever you!
