Vision of Sugar Plums....

Another Tree Skirt in the works....this one with mittens, hearts, birds, etc.

Even though many of the designs are not typical Christmas....I think they work...

....more sketching or painting with thread...

Need to add much more kitsch...heehee.....

AND.....I finished one more Grandmother's Flower Garden block.....yippee!!!

You have been busy! I love all the detail you are getting from your thread sketching! And the colours of the Flower Garden block are so delicate! Did you fussy cut that third round-the peach with the trees? Fabulous work!

OOOhh Wow!!, I LOVE your tree skirt mitten, bird and heart. They're brilliant, so funky and fun!! I love the retro look of them. Cushions with those on them would look fabulous too!!!

The Grandmother's Flower Garden block is very nice. What size hexagon are you using? Thanks for the great inspiration!

Ok I just have to say, the first flower looks like a face. The leaves are the eyes, smile below.... which I think makes it even cuter :) Love these designs!

I like this second tree skirt a lot, even if it's not traditionally christmas-y. It comes across as very winter-y, which makes it work.
